Laina Leckie is an award winning, versatile graphic designer well versed in the latest design tools. She is equally comfortable with digital and print as a designer, teacher and art director. She has created innovative national and international ad campaigns and other marketing materials for clients across industries such as Bulova, Simon and Schuster, Harley Davidson, Smithsonian, Pearson Education, and Stone Lantern Films. Combining her artistic sensibility and love of design with expertise in Adobe programs and interactive design web apps, Laina’s striking work resonates in the hearts and minds of the target audience.

An adjunct at the School of Visual Arts, Ramapo College of NJ, and Bergen Community College, Laina has been teaching design, interactive media, and computer art at the college level for more than 20 years. She empowers students with the skills to express their creativity and the insights to develop their own unique style. Her classes explore fundamental and advanced design, interactive media, typography, career development, and the computer skills needed to launch their careers in the design world. Laina believes in challenging students to reach their potential while offering encouragement, support, and real-world context. Students value her engaging style, clear presentation of material, and real-world perspective.
